Carter is partnering with his mother Sheteka Alexander’s nonprofit, Girls in Real Life Situations (GIRLS). Gifts support Nashville-area cancer care — including Sisters Network Nashville, which helps patients pay medical bills. The dollar amount is the cost of the flight the NCAA suspended him over — money he already repaid.

Clay Travis announced he will match Carter’s $427 per tackle after the NCAA declined to. The Vol Bros are updating the total each week as a reminder the NCAA can still match it.
